2025 Graduation Ceremony

The Department of Turkish Language and Literature Celebrated Its Graduation Ceremony with Great Enthusiasm

On Friday, June 13, 2025, the Faculty of Letters hosted the graduation ceremony of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Bumin Kağan Hall. The ceremony, attended by students and their families, was filled with proud and emotional moments.

The event began with a heartfelt speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Letters, Prof. Dr. Nurşen ADAK. Following this, the Head of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Prof. Dr. Şevkiye KAZAN NAS, addressed the audience with an emotional message.

Berfin Akural, who graduated at the top of her class, delivered a touching speech about her academic journey and accomplishments. She was then presented with a plaque, symbolic diploma, and flowers by Dean Prof. Dr. Nurşen ADAK and Head of Department Prof. Dr. Şevkiye KAZAN NAS. Beste SARIOĞLU, who ranked second, and Buse TIRAŞ, who ranked third in the department, also received their plaques and gifts.

A video featuring memorable moments from the undergraduate years of both regular and evening education students drew great attention and emotional reactions from the audience. Afterward, all graduating students were invited to the stage to receive their symbolic diplomas and flowers from the faculty members of the department.

The ceremony concluded with the traditional cap toss, marking a joyful end to the official proceedings. Following the ceremony at Bumin Kağan Hall, a celebratory cake was cut on the department floor. Students and their families enjoyed the music and celebrated the pride and happiness of this special day together.
